Winning on the PGA Tour is not easy. Ask Tommy Fleetwood.

The 34-year-old Englishman has one of the most relaxed fluctuations on tours, with his unique shortened sequel that looks so good that it is a miracle that he could ever make a bad shot. Although Fleetwood has eight victories international, he still has to win on the American soil on the PGA Tour. Not that he did not come close. Fleetwood has 41 top ten finishes on the PGA Tour-De Most Top Teen finishes without a victory of each player in the past 40 years.

For Fleetwood it is not a matter of or, but when his breakthrough will happen.

That moment looked like it would happen today, but a dramatic 72nd last hole would put an end to the bid of Fleetwood for his first victory.

Fleetwood gave a considerable lead on Sunday and led the field with three strokes. It was only the second time in his career that he had held the 54-Holes lead/Co-Lead. But that leadership quickly faded at the start of the final round when Fleetwood reached a rocky start and three of the first four Holes Bogey, including two three-puts. Fleetwood also struggled early in the final of the tee and only hit two fairways in the first six holes.

In the ninth hole, his lead had disappeared after Keegan Bradley had made a monster 64-foot Birdie Putt on the 9th hole to bind Fleetwood before the lead. Fleetwood eventually settled and hit his pass and made a Birdie on the Par 3 11th hole to take a two-shot lead over Bradley.

Fleetwood’s lead was cut in two with a bogey on the 16th hole. He would then find the bunker of the T-shirt on the 17th hole and deliver a clutch shot on Gat-High, a five-foot center cup for par to carry the lead from one blow to the last hole.

But it was not meant. A late club change on the 18th hole of Fleetwood left him briefly and to the left of the Green, 50 feet of the hole, opened the door for Keegan Bradley who stepped dramatically and threw an arrow from the fairway to five feet.

Fleetwood would leave his delay outside the ball of Bradley, so he first had to show Putt and Keegan the line. Fleetwood missed his putt and Bradley, after he learned the break from him, the putt made the Putt at the top and won the Travelers Championship right and pulled the victory of Fleetwood.

Tommy Fleetwood would end for second place with Russell Henley and expand his record to 42 top ten PGA Tour finishing without a victory.
