The highly appreciated teenager has been followed by Europe’s top clubs for some time after he was broken into in the Copenhagen side at the age of 16.
Bardghji scored 10 goals in 34 performances in all competitions during a Breakout 2023/24 campaign, including a late winner against Manchester United in the Champions League.
An ACL injury decimated its last term, but Bardghji has returned to action and is now preparing for a controversial movement. The 19-year-old contract at Copenhagen is going this month and he is now approaching a free transfer movement to Barcelona.
FC Porto had fueled the wing player, but the interest of Barcelona now seems to determine to win the race. There was also rumors interest in the services of the Swede of Manchester United, Spurs and Marseille.
Fabrizio Romano reports that De La Liga Giants are now in the ‘last phases’ of a deal for Bardghji, who will be the second signing of the Club of the Summer after the conquest of goalkeeper Joan Garcia of Espanyol of € 25 million. Barcelona also continues to work on a deal for Athletic Club -Vleugel player Nico Williams.
The arrival of Bardghji could pave the path for Ansu Fati to leave Catalonia. This week, Barcelona sports director Deco suggests that the club would find a loan movement for FATI this summer.
“With his age and career, Ansu Fati cannot stay without playing,” said Deco.
“When he leaves, it will be a loan. He is 23, but people talk about him as if he is 30. He still has a lot to grow and learn.”
