Emeri Adames scored two goals in the second half and the Seattle Reign defeated the Utah Royals 4-1 in the National Women’s Soccer League on Saturday.
It was the first Multi-goal game from Adames’ career, and in 19 years and 79 days old she became the second-youngest player who once scored two goals in an NWSL match.

Elsewhere in the NWSL on Saturday, Gotham FC Bay FC beat 2-1 at home, the North Carolina Courage won 2-1 against the Houston Dash at home, and the Portland Thorns defeated the Chicago stars with 1-0 to stay unbeaten in Providence Park.
At the first field of America in Utah, the reign (6-4-3) jumped out to an early 2-0 lead.
Ji So-Yun scored from 14 meters after a head pass from Maddie Dahlien in the sixth minute. Ji then gave the favor and played Dahlien on Doel for the second goal of the Reign in the 16th.
Bianca St-Georges scored for the royals in the 31st when the Canadian attacker tapped up close after the Ally Sentnor strike had restored the post.

Ji got her second assist of the game when she slid the ball to Adames in the 66th and the young person found the corner with a quick shot with left against 12 meters to bring the score to 3-1.
Adames converted a penalty kick in the 90th. She leads Seattle with four goals this season.
It was the first time that the Reign scored four in a competition since May 2023.
The Royals (1-10-2) expanded their Windless Streak to eight and remain in last place in the NWSL classification while the competition goes a one-month break during the month.
Gonzalez scores Leading 10th goal of the season for Gotham
Esther Gonzalez scored her 10th goal of the season and Gotham came to the Bay defeat from behind. The Spaniard is the top scorer in the NWSL and has already surpassed its total of nine from the 2024 season.

Gotham (5-5-3) won his second home game of the season.
Penelope Hocking set up Bay 1-0 in the 11th minute. Hocking stuck on a looping pass by Hannah Bebar and put the ball past Ann-Katrin Berger in the Gotham goal.
Gonzalez got the equalizer of Gotham in the 29th when she bounced on a loose pass in the box through Alyssa Malonon.
Geyse scored the winning goal for Gotham in the 55th. Nealy Martin found the Brazilian with a bending 40-yard long passing by the defense.
It was a second consecutive loss for Bay (4-6-3). The team, based in San Jose has all lost meetings with Gotham since he joined the NWSL in 2024.

Befort completes comeback for courage
Hannah Betfort scored the winning goal in the comeback victory of North Carolina.
The courage (5-5-3) are located on a two-game extraction streak and are in the NWSL classification until the ninth, outside the play-off on goal difference alone. It was the second consecutive competition coach Sean Nahas missed because of a medical issue, but he was seen in the stands in Wakemed Soccer Park.
The dashboard (3-8-2) is Winloos in their last five games.
Avery Patterson placed Houston 1-0 ahead in the opening minute of the game. The bent strike from the box came after just 52 seconds and was the fastest goal in the history of Dash.

Acting head coach Nathan Thackeray made a triple replacement in the 66th minute, making Jaedyn Shaw, Ashley Sanchez and Betfort in the game.
Dash -midfielder Sarah Puntigam was broadcast for a second yellow card for an error on Shaw in the 70th.
Shaw scored the equalizer with a simple finish from the center of the box in the 71st. The goal was Shaw’s first for the courage since he came out of season during this past.
Manaka Matsukubo saw Betfort in the box and hit the ball to the attacker, who just got a touch to score the winning goal in the 81st.

Pietra Tordin scored the only goal and De Doornen (6-3-4) remained unbeaten this season in Providence Park. Portland did not drop a competition at home in nine straight matches that goes back until last year.
After a scoreless first half, Sam Coffey crossed the ball to the back post for Tordin to hit her third goal of the season in the 59th minute.
Thorns -goalkeeper Bella Bixby recorded a team record 27th NWSL -SCHONE leaf, making three saves.
The stars (1-7-3) are winless in their last nine games.
Two-time World Cup winning American ladies goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher missed a third consecutive game for Chicago due to an injury on the upper extremity.
